Laraway

Bitter cold, but sunny at 12 degrees clear skies no wind. The incline is a moderately steep all the way up to the lookout. The total round trip was 5.53 miles and the elevation is 1,635 feet to the lookout

Toward the top there are these giant rock formations. In the winter they create massive icicles that dangle over the rock. These icicles are so huge you can stand underneath them.

The view at the lookout is beautiful! During the winter hiking can be challenging. At less than half a mile to the peak and we had to turn around. There was no set path to the peak in the snow and it was up to my waist making it really difficult to hike.

The best part is going down! Siding down on your butt is the best way to end a hike!
